Summer Beauty Faves
Hi friends! I'm no beauty guru, but I do have a few simple tried and true products which I LOVE, and I wanted to share! With the weather heating up and summer right around the corner, I'm starting to switch up my beauty regimen and bust out a few of my favorite bronzing beauties!
Summer time for me means a little less makeup, but as for the makeup that I do wear, I need it to be long-lasting. Illinois summer's are crazy HUMID! So finding great long-wear makeup that's simple and easy to apply is a MUST... I also love the look of being sun kissed without the actual sun damage, so I'm all about the added 'bronzed' and glowing look... If you're looking for a new blush, highlighter, or bronzer, I'm sharing my go-to products below! I use these year round and LOVE them! I'm also sharing my current favorite lip and eye product!
1. Urban Decay Afterglow 8 Hour Powder Highlighter: Aura {I just recently tried this highlighter and LOVE it! It's $26 and well worth the price. It stays on all day, leaving a beautiful shimmer on my cheekbones. LOVE!}
2. Bobbi Brown Mini Shimmer Brick Compact: Bronze {I use this bronzer for a little extra 'sun kissed' glow all over my face. I love the variety of color/shimmer this compact has.}
3. Bobbi Brown Shimmer Blush: Coral {I'm a big fan of all things Bobbi Brown, especially their blush. This blush is amazing and stays on all day! I'be been using this shade plus a few others for a few years now.}
4. Lipsense: Pink Champagne {This is a great summer pink/neutral color. It's long-lasting, you can actually wear this all day without smudging it or re-applying! It's amazing. My bestie {Jenny, IG: @jennyosborn} actually sells this stuff, so I wanted to give it a try. Per my honest review, I would really recommend you snagging a shade or two! This stuff is magic! 5. MAC Eyeshadow: Honey Lust {This is shimmery eyeshadow, more on the gold side. It's gorgeous and a MUST!}
