Spring Basics

Hi friends! We're home from vacation, and our weather is NUTS! It snowed on Sunday and now yesterday and today it's storming and raining, ugh! What an interesting start to spring we're having here in the Midwest! Anyways...
I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite spring basics, this band tee is a must! I recently snagged this light blue Woodstock tee for under $15, and I'm loving the fit and versatility! I did size up, I'm wearing a medium for reference. This piece is adorable and would be cute with a simple pair of denim {I'm wearing my new lilac pair here I found at AE on our trip}, or you could easily wear this tee with an adorable Moto jacket and white denim... For summer, this top would be the perfect concert tee! Add to it a simple pair of shorts, sandals, and run errands or have a park date with your kiddos!
Also, this jacket I'm wearing is THE BOMB. I'm not even kidding when I say that you need this cutie in your closet. I love this grey chevron print, it's adorable and such a classic piece! I loved pairing it with this tee, denim, and these flats. They run true to size are only $13, I've been wearing them everywhere, they are so comfortable!
Side note: as a mama to two little ones, stains will happen, thats a given... I assumed when buying this jacket that POSSIBLY one of my children may in the near future get something on this jacket, hence I would need to wash it, etc... but NO, that's not the case here, it wasn't one of my sweet little angles who almost ruined my jacket, it was ME. Would you believe me if I told you I was opening a bottle of red wine and the bottle literally exploded all over me and this beautiful jacket?! Ask my girlfriends how that went... YIKES! Needless to say, this jacket repelled the wine and not a stain could be found. I ended up machine washing it as soon as I got home from the incident hours later, and my jacket is as good as new. This jacket is a dream, and you need it. End of story.
